Our journey

The technological foundations of digital workbench were laid more than ten years ago in the automotive sector. The focus was on technical projects in electronics, software, and information technology, which gave rise to core competencies in the design of complex systems.

Company history

2014Company founded in Wettstetten. Focus on the automotive industry: development services and custom hardware and software development.
2019Strategic realignment of the company’s previously 100 percent automotive focus. Expansion of the customer base to include robotics, the environment, and industry.
2020Stability amid the semiconductor crisis and during the COVID-19 pandemic.
2021Spin-off of the automotive business unit to Weiditec: New focus on high-tech developments. Integration of Anylink AG's electronics division.
2022First public unveiling of the tipard 350 robot platform at the DLG Field Days in Mannheim.
2023Launch of the world's first multi-carrier platform, the tipard 1800, at Agritechnica, the world's leading trade fair for agricultural technology, in Hanover.
2024International Recognition for the Multi-Carrier Concept: The tipard 1800 was named Ag Robot of the Year 2024.
2025Launch of three new tipard product lines and announcement of additional in-house products in the fields of computer vision and harvesting at Agritechnica in Hanover.

As the company’s history unfolded, this led to the emergence of its first key industrial applications. In 2020, the company developed its first in-house system solution in the field of automation and mobile machinery – the tipard autonomous multi-carrier platform.
